Hollard was established in the 80’s, today they are a Pan-African insurer, and Mzansi’s largest privately-owned insurance group. They offer a wide range of life, short-term insurance, and investment products, serving individuals, small businesses, and multinational corporates.
The Challenge
Hollard Life required an end-to-end online that would:
- Enable brokers to quote on life products,
- Handle both financial and medical underwriting,
- Complete the application and acceptance process, and
- Allow for digital signing, all within a fully online workflow designed to dramatically reduce the time from quotation to policy commencement.
Our Solution
The CyberPro team (Team Katana) put forth a motivational case as to why the team can implement this project in house instead of outsourcing it. The team used their extensive knowledge of the business to put a solution together that met the clients’ needs. The team engaged other teams to collaborate in delivering the project, e.g. services and integration team to help implement services to separate external dependencies on external parties.
